Editor's Picks: The Mid Season Sale

Author Editor - 1 minute read

In the midst of all this uncertainty, we're looking for new ways to stay stylish and comfortable in our work from home space. When the office is a desk and a video chat, and the chair isn't quite the spinning delight that we now miss, we need to take our home looks up a notch to bring productivity into the everyday.

The Shirt

Cut from pure cotton, the Ava Rhodes Shirt is our top pick of comfortable essentials. With long sleeves and a classic collar, it retains the feel of your work outfit, whilst the relaxed oversized fit and zip feature give it a classic edge. Whilst I can't wear the Ava shirt outside just yet, I'm planning on styling it with tailored separates come the summer months. In the mean time, I'm wearing mine with leggings at my dining room table, I won't judge if you do the same...

The Dress

If you, like me, are nostalgically dreaming of two weeks ago, this is the dress for you. I can't stop thinking about that delightful time when planning an outfit for Easter felt normal, not pointless. So now I'm determined to use my bank holiday wisely, I'll cook a meal for those of us still holed up together, or potentially for friends and family again if travelling is no longer a worry, and I will dress for the occasion in a comfortable, stylish, jersey dress and it will be lovely. Creating little things to look forward to is keeping me going here, and this dress is one of the things I can't wait for.

The Tee

For those of you that want ultimate comfort, try this classic embroidered t-shirt. With a simple 'be nice' design, it's versatile enough to wear our and about when weekend days are spent in parks and pubs again, and classic enough to wear now with your staple cosy separates. Plus, it's great having a little reminder to 'be nice', just the kind of statement my partner enjoys sarcastically pointing out when I chastise him for not washing a pan properly.

Enjoy your time at home, make the most of it, dress up for it, and try to retain some sense of normality. That's what we're doing anyway. We hope it works...
